Far over the misty mountains cold…
To dungeons deep, and caverns old…
We must away, ere break of day…
To seek our pale enchanted gold.
I got this idea and wanted to take a photo of my copy of Thorin’s map and my key to Erebor…

Guys I really need your help! I just entered the “My Life’s Adventure” photography contest on photobucket. I could really use the cash prize to help with school and paying for art supplies. Even a runner up prize! 500 dollars is a really big deal! Do you know how much ink and paper that is?!
What I am asking of you all is to
- View the click through link! Just viewing the photobucket page helps me!
- Liking photos! If you can! On the lower right corner of the photos you can press the little heart and “like” the image!
- Commenting on photos and striking conversations I will happily participate with you! The comment button is also located on the lower right corner of the photos marked with a little speech bubble.
- Share with your friends!
- Please either reblog this to your tumblr blogs
- Send and share the page url to your friends on Facebook!
- Or tweet it!
- Some traffic is better than no traffic!
Thank you so much everyone! The contest ends on December 9th but expect a few more reblogs of this! Re-rebloging this post would be mighty helpful!
Beaches & Flowers of Orleans and Dennis, MA
DAY 2:
So today I woke up at 6:00 a.m. of my own accord. Tell me how that works when I went to bed at almost midnight……?? But anyway. Everyone finally finished waking up at 8:00 a.m. and we had breakfast of bagels and brown sugar cinnamon poptarts we went on a walk where I took some beautiful photos of the beach and some flowers. That garden you see? Apparently an ex-marine keeps that garden, and does a pretty damn good job! The flowers are gorgeous. I’m sure it helps him cope with any PTSD he may have from being in the corps, since gardening is a relaxing thing to do.
After our walk, we came home and cleaned up and got changed and figured out our plans for the day. We went to Dennis and stopped at the Lemon Tree shops and that’s where I saw that A Clockwork Orange smiley on a poster! I loved it so I had to snap a pic. For lunch, we went to the Scargo Cafe and I got to have my first bowl of clam chowder here on the Cape (it was absolutely delicious, by the way.) and a Caesar salad. It was a very good lunch. And I also took more photos of pretty flowers. :3 (which I’ll post in a separate photo set like I did the other day.) And after lunch, we spent some time at Crystal Lake trying to cool off. It was wonderful! There was a pretty cool kid skim boarding there and he was really cute.
Finally we wrapped up the day with a dinner of sandwiches and corn on the cob and it was delicious. We went to town centre to CVS to pick up some dental floss and a razor and batteries, we didn’t have a list, so we totally forgot the dental floss and batteries and ended up buying bags of candy and a magazine and the razor instead. Go us. But to end our day completely, we went down to Priscilla’s Landing, where we sprinkled my great grandmother’s ashes (whose name was Priscilla), and took photos of the sunset and some boats down at the water. It was really beautiful. I’ll post those photos with the flowers. vuv
