Talking with Barb about Korra it got me thinking again…

And wow they really butchered Amon’s character in the finale when they introduced him as a bender. Like, it didn’t hit me until I was talking about it again with someone who loves the show as much as I do?? And wow it got me legit upset.

They butchered a lot of characters in the show, I’m not gonna lie, but Amon was my favourite. And when they introduced him as a bender, publicly shamed him, and fucking killed him off in the same episode I just… NO. D:< He could have been such a cool character but they rushed into the finale and just HAD to kill him after ruining his character that they had built throughout the series by introducing him as a bender. He didn’t HAVE to be killed, he could’ve stayed in the series and been put in the second season and not have a ruined and rushed character because wow it could have been really freaking cool actually having a character that could take away bending and NOT be a bender wowee. Like he could block chi or something, like the monk told Aang in AtLA when Aang was learning how to take/give bending back on that kind of soul searching journey he went on by himself.

What if Amon could’ve done that instead of being a bender, somehow he figured out how to block chi by touching someone and take their bending away that way?? IT COULD’VE BEEN REALLY COULD AND SHIT BUT NO THEY HAD TO INTRODUCE HIM AS A BENDER AND FUCK HIS CHARACTER UP IN MORE WAYS THAN I CAN COUNT. THEY FUCKED OVER SO MANY PEOPLE IN THIS SHOW. UGH.

MAKO’S A GIANT DOUCHE, KORRA’S KIND OF AN IDIOT, AND BOLIN’S JUST THE FUNNY GUY. UGH. THIS SHOW MAKES ME SO MAD.

BUT I’M STILL EXCITED ABOUT SEASON 2 ‘CAUSE I’M REALLY HOPING THEY DON’T FUCK IT UP LIKE SEASON 1. I’ll cut them some slack but seriously. If they don’t have a good villain, a good plot, and GOOD CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT THAT THEY DON’T FUCK UP I will personally go to Los Angeles and yell at Bryke. >B| I will not tolerate the shit they pulled with Season 1 to be in Season 2.
