Emotional Breakdown
Yeah, so I had a bit of an emotional breakdown a few hours ago…
My Dad, who I haven’t seen in over five years or talked to in over a year, decided to send me a birthday card. I dunno why, I thought I had come to terms with the fact that he was never going to be a part of my life again, I thought I accepted that fact. But this little gesture stirred up a turmoil of emotions in me. I literally sat here at my computer for like, forty five minutes just crying.
Have you ever felt that? Just, that overwhelming feeling that you just need to cry?
After talking a bit with a friend who’s been through literally almost the same things as I have, I’ve decided that I’m going to try and reconnect with the Dad I lost. I’m going to write him a letter.
